District Chief Executive interacts with Girls-In-ICT Trainees

The District Chief Executive for Saboba Mr. George Kitingyaab Bingrini on Monday, 17th July, 2023 paid a working visit to Saboba E.P Senior High School where 60 basic school girls commenced a 5-day training in essential Information Communication Technology (ICT) skills.

The beneficiaries will be taken through coding, cyber security, and website development among others. Already 1000 girls have been trained in the Savannah region and another 1000 girls are expected to be trained in the entire Northern Region. These 60 girls were selected from basic schools within the Saboba district.

The training forms part of the Girls-In-ICT programme being implemented by the Ministry of Communication and Digitization in collaboration with its agencies to bridge the gender gap in ICT in the country.
