On Wednesday 28th August 2024, At the premises of the Saboba District Assembly, The District Chief Executive, Hon. George Bingrini presented 150 Metal fabricated dual desks to the district Directorate of Ghana Education Service for onward distribution to eight (8) basic Schools in the district.
He urged the District Directorate of Ghana Education Service to ensure that the desks are used for their intended purpose and properly maintained.
Receiving the desks on behalf of the Headteachers, the District Director of Education, Mr. Awuah Hayford thanked the District Chief Executive and the Saboba District Assembly for their continuous support towards education in the district. He promised the furniture will be well kept and maintained for other generations to benefit.
Since, 2017 the District Assembly has invested a lot of its resources in education by way of building Classroom blocks, Renovation of dilapidated Classroom blocks, Renovation of boys’ dormitories, Building of Administration Block, Provision of Streetlights in all the Second Cycle institutions and some Basic Schools in the District. The District Director of Education was accompanied by his frontline Officers. While the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Seidu Abdul Aziz supported the District Chief Executive.
