On Tuesday, 7th July 2026 – A team of Officers from the Northern Regional Co-ordinating Council paid a working visit to the Saboba District Assembly to assess the performance of the Assembly for the First and Second Quarters of 2026.

The objectives of the Monitoring exercise included;

• Review performance of the 2026 (1st and 2nd quarters) Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies Performance Contract under the respective Key Performance Areas (KPAs).
• Assess the project registers (progress of physical projects implementation) of Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies including the 24-Hour economic model market.
• Conduct financial management assessment.

At the end of the exercise the team made valuable suggestions to the Assembly. The District Chief Executive, Hon. George Bilimor Wumbei commended the team for taking time to review valuable documents and pledged to work on the suggestions made by the team.
