๐—™๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐Ÿฒ๐˜๐—ต ๐—๐˜‚๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฐ, The Saboba District Assembly marked this yearโ€™s Green Ghana Day at the Agenda 111 site in Saboba.

The event saw Heads of Departments, Security Services, Students and Officers from the Forestry Commission to mark the 2024 edition of Green Ghana Day.

Addressing the gathered officials, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Seidu Abdul Aziz who stood in for the District Chief Executive emphasized the urgent need to combat climate change, and pollution while underscoring the critical needs to plant more trees in our respective communities.

Mr. Abdul-Aziz urged all to be responsible to the trees they plant. The District through the Department of Agriculture received Seedlings 1400 seedlings for the dayโ€™s ceremonial exercise thus 200 acacia, 500 teak, 500 cashew.

The Director of Agriculture, Seidu Fataw said the district expects to receive 25,000 seedlings to be distributed to organizations and individuals.

A ceremonial tree planting was done by all Heads of Departments at the site.
