Monday, 26th February 2024 the District Chief Executive, Hon. George Bingrini in the company of the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Seidu Abdul Aziz and some staff members of the Saboba District Assembly visited the Community Centre in Saboba to ascertain the extent of damage caused by the fire that gutted the facility over the weekend.
A portion of the Community Centre which contains a Restaurant, Store, four bed room and Washrooms was gutted by the inferno and hundreds of Ghana Cedis worth of properties was burnt down into ashes.
This unfortunate inferno happened on Saturday 24th February 2024 at 2:00 am. The Ghana National Fire Service is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
