Hon. George Bilimor Wumbei, His Excellency the President’s nominee for the Office of District Chief Executive (DCE) for Saboba in the Northern Region, has been overwhelmingly endorsed by Assembly Members of Saboba District Assembly.
Out of the thirty-seven (37) Assembly Members present during the confirmation at the District Assembly’s Conference Hall, 36 voted in favour of Mr. George Bilimor Wumbei representing more than two-thirds of the Assembly Members. He secured 97.3% of total valid votes cast.
In his acceptance speech, he thanked His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama and the Northern Regional Minister, Hon. John Ali Adolf for the confidence reposed in him to serve the good people of Saboba.
Hon. John Ali Adolf, Northern Regional Minister, congratulated Hon. George Bilimor Wumbei and took the opportunity to thank Hon. Assembly Members and called for commitment and dedication among the stakeholders of the Assemblies to enhance development in the district.
Hon. John Ali Adolf called for support from assembly members and stakeholders, highlighting the importance of collaboration in driving regional development. By working together, they can leverage their collective expertise and resources to implement effective projects and policies that benefit the Northern Region.
