The Saboba District Assembly held its review meeting on the 2022-2025 District Medium-Term Development Plan which is expected to expire by the end of 2025. The District Assembly has commenced steps towards the preparation of a new District Medium-Term Development Plan for the period of 2026-2029 that will capture the developmental needs and aspirations of the district for the period. The meeting was held from 15th to 16th April 2025 at the Community Centre Conference Hall in Saboba.
At the opening ceremony of the 2-day review meeting, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Seidu Abdul Aziz called on various stakeholders, Development Partners, Heads of Departments and Units of the District Assembly participate fully in the review. Key departments of the district assembly like the Department of Agriculture, Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, Department of Works, District Health Directorate, and District Directorate of Education took turns to present their works in relation to the current DMTDP.
Development partners of the Assembly thus Non-Governmental Organizations also show cased their activities and projects.
The 2022–2025 District Medium-Term Development Plan (DMTDP) of Saboba District Assembly (SDA) is a strategic document prepared to provide guidance for all developmental programmes and projects of the district. It is also the composite document for all intended activities of all departments, units and stakeholders of the Assembly.
In acknowledging the efforts of development partners, the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Seidu Abdul Aziz thanked Care International for funding the program.
