Nambiri, Wednesday, 13th March, 2024, Hon. George Kitingyaab Bingrini commissioned a 3-Unit Classroom Block with ancillary facilities for the good people of Nambiri.
The building was constructed by a Ghanaian couple (God Is Love) based in the United Kingdom through the efforts of Madam Abigail Adjapong a teacher at Nambiri DA Primary School. Before this 3-Unit Classroom block, Madam Abigail Adjapong had previously worked to supply 50 dual desks for the school children of Nambiri through the same donors.
Handing over the 3-Unit Classroom Block, Hon. George Kitingyaab Bingrini applauded Madam Abigail Adjapong for her initiative to support a deprived school like Nambiri DA JHS. In his remarks, he said this was going to improve upon quality teaching and learning in a conducive environment.
The District Director of Education, Madam Janet Adua who received the keys on behalf of the District Directorate of Education, commended Madam Adjapong for mobilising resources from God Is Love. She advised the Headteacher and community members to cultivate good maintenance culture.
Chief of Nambiri, Femeh John Jagri Njornbi thanked the District Chief Executive for his continuous support in the educational sector and asked for more developmental project for the good people of Nambiri Traditional Area.
Hon. George used the opportunity to donate a set of jersey and football to the Junior High School and football to the Primary school.
