On 6th October, at the premises of the Saboba District Assembly, the DCE, Mr. George Bingrini presented Metal fabricated dual desks to the Ghana Education Service for onward distribution to 5 basic Schools in the district.
The Ghana Education Service was represented by Mr. Charles Nyoja, Deputy Director responsible for Planning, and Mr. Augustine N-gnapula an Auditor with Ghana Education Service.
DCE urged Officers of Ghana Education Service to ensure that the desks are used for its intended purpose and properly maintained.
Since, 2017 the District Assembly has invested a lot of its resources in education by way of building Classroom blocks, Renovation of dilapidated Classroom blocks, Renovation of boys’ dormitories, Building of Administration Block, Provision of Streetlights in all the Second Cycle institutions and some Basic Schools in the District. Beneficiary school are;

2.Borgbaln D.A Primary School
3.Gaala E.P Primary School
4.Sanguli R.C Primary School
5.Gbaln D.A Primary School
The Ghana Education Service’s representative Mr. Charles Nyoja commended the District Assembly for being real collaborators in the district. He promised they will keep and maintain the furniture well for other generations to benefit.
