DCE goes monitoring

On Tuesday 23rd May, 2023, the District Chief Exective of Saboba Mr. George Bingrini paid working visits to various project sites under construction and a school within the District. He drove straight to Nambiri D/A Primary School to assess the extent of damage caused the School due to heavy rainstorm that unroofed parts of the School building. It is a 3 Unit Classroom Block that houses about 300 pupils and Teachers.

He visited the School with the District Works Engineer, Ing. Seth Senyo Cephas. After assessing the block, he asked him to prepare estimates for additional civil works and a complete re-roofing of the entire block. When this is done, it will be awarded to a Constructor to give the building a new face look.

However, the District Assembly earlier this year, renovated the Teachers Quarters in the community which had deteriorated beyond habitation by the Teachers.

Mr. Pakwin Solomon ceased the opportunity thank me for the numerous interventions I have supported his school with and many other Schools.

Also, he also inspected ongoing construction of 900 meters x 900 meters and a 1200 meters x 900 meters Pipe Culverts on the Nanchang-Kinanduk-Lifur-Biwaldo roads which currently under construction to ease mobility during the raining season.

It was a tight and busy day, as he was joined by Officers of the Saboba District Assembly to inspect the almighty construction of Government flagship Agenda 111 Hospital Project at Toma. According to Mr. George Bingrini, he was impressed and satisfied with the speed of work at the project site. He urged all residents of Saboba to keep praying for this project till it finishes and handed over to us for use.
