The DCE for Saboba Mr. George Bingrini joined the good people of Sambuli Parish to celebrate Holy mass and the Commissioning of a 3 Unit classroom Block with the Bishop of Yendi Diocese Vincent Sowah Boi-Nai, S.V.D.
The ceremony was held to also mark the retirement of Bishop Vincent Sowah Boi-Nai, S.V.D who has served as Bishop of Yendi Diocese for more than 2 decades.
The 3 Unit classroom Block with a Library was built with support from German Friends. The total amount spent on the project was €191,000. As a result of the great work by the Church, DCE donated 60 metal fabricated dual desks to be furnished into the classrooms. The Chief and people of Sambuli could not hide their joy as they received roofing packets from Hon. Charles Binipom Bintin former Member of Parliament for Saboba.
Delivering a keynote address at the ceremony, Mr. George underscored the numerous support by the Catholic Church in the Saboba District ranging from education, health and peace. He also used the opportunity to appeal to your Lordship Bishop to keep supporting the Church and District even as he proceeds on retirement.
The facility was commissioned for use.
